This week had some crazy good highs and also crazy bad lows O.o I will use thumbs up/down signs as a key for you all. 👍👎
On Tuesday we went and visited our good complex buddy Mary and her nephew. It was a really fun visit talking about Joseph Smith and The Walking Dead. She even offered to make us christmas stockings! She said she'd be at church too. She came 30 minutes late but hey, chalk it. We were really happy and we got her records moved in officially(: 👍
Thanksgiving day was great!! We spent it with a part-active family. Of course there was tons of food and leftovers the next day(: 👍
That evening we went to Justina's place and taught another lesson. Even though her roommate is a guy, turns out they really aren't dating (she has a different boyfriend) and she still has the green light! 👍Bad news though is she ditched out on church for the first time because the boyfriend came into town...so now her date has to be moved. :/ -.- 👎
Then we got a referral to visit Justina's neighbor and she was so nice! This little old lady from Washington and she let us in right on the spot. We taught the first lesson and she was super happy about it all. 👍 THEN Satan had to rear his ugly head and she texted us the next day saying she wanted to cancel our visit. So that was lame. 👎
Finally, we went to our Albanian friends' home. She was having a family party but she still let us in anyway. There were some of her kids, grandkids, and an in-law all there. They were all chill. She gave us some home-made European yogurt stuff and it was straight awful. 👎 Elder Mejia and I ate it to be polite.. BUT then we got to have basically a Q&A with all these people about the church for around 2 hours and talk all about the things we believe. It was swanky. Half the time they were all speaking mad fast Albanian but thankfully the kids know English so it wasn't too bad. & Her two adult-children accepted books of mormon to read 👍
