No letter from Taylor this week with it being Christmas. We were able to Skype with him on Christmas Day and enjoyed every minute of it. He is doing well!

This week marks the end of my sister mission. Im a man now Ya!!! Hahaha. I now have less than 6 months left, which makes me a true elder. But to be honest it is kinda scary. Like I think I was supposed to be good at this by now...? No? Alright that's cool too. The more important thing is that WE GOT SNOW. Man I have waited on that lovely stuff for months! It was 4 inches or something which isn't bad. Except since it's KC there's this thing called black ice and it's everywhere!! I am not kidding when I say the streets become ice rinks. We were literally running down the road and sliding on our backs on the asphalt. There were so many car wrecks haha...in fact we had to stay inside for parts of a few days because it was too sketchy. It is mostly cleared now but still hecka cold. It was somethin like -17 with wind chill the other evening. Mmmm. Oooo We had a zone conference on Thursday that was really good. I got to go to the temple for the first time since my endowment basically...haha like a year and a half...It was so cool to be in the celestial room with my mission president and all the other missionaries.(: Lastly, a member in our ward made us christmas stockings and gave us toys! I've been messing around with a yo-yo she gave me nonstop. Here is the culmination of my 2 days of experience. This one an 8 year old kid showed me in my 1st area a year ago...I just happened to remember how it works kinda. & this was complete luck. Definitely could not do it a 2nd time.
Feliz Navidad! Elder Regis Alpha and Omega Mission So we had a super super dope Christmas party. There were a ton of non-members and less actives that came. We had a few of our friends come too! Also...we got to wear our pajama pants and wear train conductor hats because it was Polar Express. Everybody was raving over us. It was pretty funny(; Then they gave us 3.5 lbs of candy, 2 boxes of cookies, and a case of goldfish. Yikes. Here's a picture. That's about it from me this week.
Paz, Elder Regis Alpha and Omega Mission I went on exchanges for the first time with my district leader since coming here.. We helped these guys lift this freakin' huge cooler into their apartment. We visited a recent convert who is from Egypt and then went to his Greek cafe the next day for lunch. I had a traditional gyro for the first time. They are really yummy!! Alright...I hope you have some Kleenex's because this next story is a tear jerker. It was a cold Friday at dusk but we decided to bike to the house of this old man named Clifford before dinner. We had talked to him a few weeks ago and left him a Book of Mormon and pamphlet to read. We got there and were super happy because he was home (& awake) and let us in! We sat down and he found his book. He handed it to us, saying he'd read some, and ended up being 41 chapters in!! We were a little stunned but the excitement was building. ....and then he said he was never going to change, gave us the book back and kindly escorted us out of his house...hahahaha it was so sad it was funny. The End. On Sunday our favorite friend Justina came to church accompanied by her little baby Jaylin as usual. Though a new guest had appeared. Ryan!! Aw yeah. We've been teaching him since day 1 with her but he's always denied an invitation to come to church. Justina whispered she had to whip him into shape and got him there. Then she made him stay for the whole 3 hours. Hahaha the first (and perhaps only) time a girl's stubbornness was helpful. We got to watch the Christmas Devotional with a family (from Layton(; ) too and it was great! Make sure you're keeping up with #LightTheWorld 🌲 Christmas decorations. Feliz Navidad
