A construction crew was working near our complex and happen to burst a main water line. So our apartment didn't have any water for a day. Luckily we had a car so we went to Parkville Elders' place to shower haha.
We have had multiple primary kids tell us that Trump is the ruler of the universe now. So in case you all were unaware(; The people say the media is straight crazy right now...we just take their word for it. Probably the funniest thing kid-related this week though was we went to a member's house to share a quick message with them. The parents were like, "Eden (2 year old) did you show the elders your new snugly toy?" She got really happy and pulled out a Halloween decoration. It's this nasty looking skeleton of a dead cat. They're all, "yeah..it's her favorite toy. She sleeps with it every night." Twisted.
Also on Sunday we got to help with sharing time in primary and the kids acted like we were celebrities. 🕶📸
I forgot to send the pictures of the pumpkins we carved on Halloween so here they are. If you can't see, my companion did Jesus at the 2nd Coming and I did a Fire-emoji guy. I told elder Graham to do a helmet and he totally did. What an animal.
We went to Justina, Michelle, and Ryan's place with a ward member for a lesson on Saturday night. When we showed up they were both ticked because apparently Michelle had ditched town...so insta-awkward in the beginning.
Moving along though we asked if they'd read the introduction of the Book of Mormon and Justina had read it, the witnesses, and 13 chapters of 1 Nephi. YEAH BUDDY. We were stoked. Later on in we invited her to be baptized and she said yes! To top it off she came to church on Sunday with her 9 month old angel-baby and is going to be baptized December 3rd. We still have to teach a lot of the lessons but pray for her to hit that date!
