Fantastic week!! We did a sweet service project at a mega baptist church. Yeah when I say mega I mean MEGA. I've never seen a church so big in my life. The thing felt like an events center it was so big. Anywho we worked in the garden there with the community, putting up fences and planting peppers. My companion got burned nicely while I walked a way with slightly darker forearms hehe.
This is sort of old news but I don't think I ever wrote about it...my companion and I got this weird fetish with puzzles back in Maryville. So during our lunch hours we did them....every single day...for months...and covered the entire bathroom wall in them. The photos only show part of them because I could not fit it all in the frame. There's a bunch more that wrap around the right side of the wall too. It's beautiful (':
Didn't have a hammer so we made do with our iron instead.(:
That pose tho.

Now for the big news..
Our focus investigator, Mark, was baptized!! WOOHOO(:
He's come such a long way. His good friend, our ward mission leader, has known him for roughly 10 years or so and this has been a long time coming. He's been slowly prepared for such a long time to come to this point and my companion and I were just lucky enough to be the elders to teach and organize the baptism. It's a really cool testimony for me that the missionaries are not the ones that are on the forefront of the work, but the members. We are here to help the ward out with their missionary work. After all we are only in the areas for a short while but the members are there full time. Though he was hesitant about officially "taking the missionary lessons," he had an awesome desire to do what's right and put his hard past behind him. He will be a strong addition to the Liberty Stake(:
