It was 66 degrees Sunday, the coldest it's been since April. MmmMmm good.
This week has been so packed. O.o
We've been really busy teaching. The coolest lesson was with Paul & Stephanie and their kids. We recapped the restoration and talked about conference as well as answered questions. They'd read a little from the Book of Mormon and we're going back next week to teach. If all goes well we're going to invite them to be baptized. 🕶
We also got to teach a man from Mexico named Rogelio a little bit. It was really fun and he's a way nice guy. The elders in Platte Woods also gave us a referral from another Latino family and we're going
over Tuesday to teach them so fingers crossed!
We had a super funny experience on this lady's doorstep. We had been talking to her a good 25 minutes when she mentioned her teenage daughter was into some hard music. She said they "growled." For all of
you who don't know, I love punk music so I thought I might know what it was. Her daughter came out and started playing a song on her phone....The genre is called Folk-Punk. I kid you not its like a fiddle and banjo with really angry punk scream/singing. Holy cow weirdest thing ever. (': I was dying inside. But hey she said we could come talk about Jesus more with her so I ain't even mad.
We did a whole bunch of other junk but I try to keep these relatively short ha. Watch conference! It'll be sweet!
