No general email from Taylor this week, just a quick note to let us know he has a new companion, Elder Gardner from Midway, Utah. He has been out about three months and is really quiet but easy-going. Taylor got a stomach bug on Friday but is better now.

We went to Berry's house this week to read the BOM with him because he doesn't read well. We read the intro and 1 Nephi 1 with him, explaining along everything along the way. He seemed to be understanding really well then he's all, "yeah the other day I was reading more about Jesus and the Americans in here." We're like, "oh. In the Book of Mormon?" "Yeah...I listened up to chapter 11 this week." Wut. This homie totally played us. Turns out he listened all about the tree of life already and here we are trying to get him through chapter1. Haha it was sweet. So brother Greenwall went with us on team-ups this week and he told us we had to go get a picture with the best "dead end" sign in the whole world. It's in a cemetery. HA. That's pretty funny actually. (': Our lil party before ZC last week. Hasta luegoooo
Elder Regis Alpha and Omega A member in our ward bought an old school..he's not sure what he wants to do with it yet, but he plans on transforming into something useful one day haha. It's in a tiny town called Elsmore. We took a little tour one day on our way home from an exchange. You can't see well in the photo but there is a stairwell and the entire floor underneath is flooded. It's cool. Also we had zone conference and so we had a sleepover with the Paola elders he day before. It was hecka fun. They have 2 adult onesies. One is a bunny and the other a giraffe (': then we stayed up super late...then I got a killer cold Friday that knocked me out. I feel a little better now but my nose is either the Hoover dam or angel falls. I am going to binge vitamin C the rest of my life I guess.
Elder Regis Alpha and Omega For p day last week we went to a rust pool. It feeds this entire stream and turns it orange. It's pretty cool. This week we found a new person to teach named Berry. He's 63 and has leukemia :/ He is really chill though and came to a church activity we invited him to in Chanute. On Tuesday we had an insane storm!! There was so much thunder and lightning with the biggest hail I have ever seen in my life! I had never seen "golf ball" hail until that day. It wrecked cars all over the streets. Also the state issued a tornado warning with the sirens and junk. We don't have access to a shelter though so we just hung out upstairs. We made it.(;
