Graduation city! Summer is on like Donkey Kong. 🕶 Elder Hansen is now in his Lincoln log house back home and my new companion is Elder Childs! This kid...he had me on the floor the other night in tears, not being able to move, because I was laughing so freaking hard. He may very well be the funniest missionary on the face of the earth. What's more is he loves the same kind of music as me and loves my favorite band sooo...yeah we'll probably become blood brothers. Haha just kidding! But he's awesome. I'm so stoked.
We had a coordination meeting with our bishop and ward mission leader where the bishop talked about some of his mission experiences and about doing prayers of faith. Some amazing miracles in our ward have come because of it. He basically called us out for our lack of faith then pumped us up through the roof. Really strong spirit and definitely is opening my eyes to a deeper concept of faith.
On Saturday we did service from morning til dinner. It was the most I've done in one day my whole mission. It was heaven sent to wear basketball shorts and a stretch shirt all day(:
This one other day we were walking home from across town. I have never gotten so much attention for being a missionary in my life!! O.o I think every other car did something towards us. Most of it was positives like honks, waves, rallying cries for JESUS, And some dude in a bandana calling us "my brothers," but we did get some of our favorite negatives as well! Such as the devil horns, the bird, and my personal favorite so far, "get a real job you....(insert your choice of word)" Elder Childs and I were relishing in it as well as drying our tears of laughter. Nutty Missourians are my favorite.
HAGS <--- nope
