Last Monday we were at institute on campus and after one of the members asked if we'd be willing to go see a presentation of some of her co-workers she wants us to have discussions with. Well we ended up just staying for the whole lecture in the back of the hall (weirdest feeling ever). But we got to see them afterwards so: success. Come to find out my companion didn't realize why we went in there in the first
place and he was like, "why did we just attend a lecture..?" I was laughing pretty hard. (:
Also we found a new investigator this week by accident. He is probably the youngest Ph.D graduate in the world. We thought he was a student but he's a professor at the University. O.o He's from Hong Kong!
That's the coolest thing ever about being here. We teach people from the Philippines, Africa, America, China, all over South America, and now the only ones I'm missing are some Europeans and Australians I'll
be set. Gonna catch 'em all.
Probably the other coolest thing that happened this last week was we were out driving on some dirt roads looking for a less active home and it was MUDDY. I would drive all over the road out of my way to hit big puddles and make mud waves & the car has never looked better if I say so myself. :D
I may or may not have some good news next week too so...to be continued.
