We also had another funeral this week of a man in the ward (thus I'm emailing Tuesday). He was in the military so they played taps and had a rifle squad which was pretty cool. There were lots of inactives and non members there so we strategically placed Plan of salvation pamphlets around the church. Got em.
There's a ward baptism planned this Saturday and we taught him all the lessons so that will be fun. Our zone has also set a goal for March to break the baptismal record for the mission..so with that seemingly insurmountable challenge my companion and I are going to tackle it coming up. O.o Everyone is so confident though which is super cool. I'm excited.
Oh hahaha here's a good one.
So we were out trying to visit some names on the roster that I wasn't familiar with. We went to a home and they invited us and about 25 minutes in I'm like, "so when is the last time you've been to church?" (Thinking they were less active) and they gave me an odd look and said, "last week..?"
Talk about awkward situation. For some reason I had never met them in our tiny ward hahaha. But hey they gave us a referral so totally worth it. (':
