The week started out with knocking doors for an entire tiny town, only to realize in the end it was barely outside our area. Oops. So the other elders get an early Christmas gift of 3 potentials we found -.- hahaha oh well.
Then I had one of the weirdest experiences on my mission. We went to this old couples house and they invited us in. They were super nice! He proceeded to give us a 2 dollar bill and a 50 cent piece because he thought the missionaries were just stand-up guys. Then sat us down and told us all about speaking in tongues when the spirit descends and that Joseph Smith was taking us down to hell with him. He singled me out in saying I had a hard heart because I told him he was nuts-o (politely of course) (;
In any case we're going to help them move next week. And I got $2.50. Holla.
Later we went and helped a member do texture work on his ceiling. It was way fun. I wore my BYU shirt to do it and then he took us to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings....*do-do-do* cue BYU game. First play pick 6. Now I'm the only guy in the whole restaurant with a WE ARE BYU written on his chest and I'm like, "Okay. It's time to leave." I was OUT.(':
Needless to say it's been a tough week.(;
